Ausgehend von Fotos, die Rauchententwicklungen und Explosionswolken zeigen, entwickelte sich in der Umsetzung eine Arbeit, die die Dramatik und die Momenthaftigkeit des Dargestellten in einfache und ruhige Linien und Flächen übersetzt. Die Vorstellung von Lärm wird zur Stille, die Bewegung gefriert. Von M1:1000 existieren acht Siebdrucke, die alle mit der gleichen blauen Hintergrundfarbe und einem schwarz-silbrigen Aufdruck versehen sind. Nur die dunklen Formen mit ihren fein gestrichelten Linien
ändern ihre Gestalt und bilden so eine eigenständige Typologie.
Die Siebdrucke haben eine Größe von ca. 70 x 100 cm und sind auf 300 g Karton gedruckt.
Zusammen mit der Arbeit Megastructures wurden sie 2004 in der Galerie Pankow in Berlin ausgestellt

On the basis of clouds, smoke and explosion photos, I developed and translated the dramatic representation into simple and calm lines and surfaces. The conception of noise turns into silence, the movement freezes. I produced eight silk-screen printings of the work M1:1000. They all have a blue background colour and a black-silvery imprint. Only the dark forms with their fine broken lines change their shape and create an own typology. The screen printings have a size of approx. 70 x 100 cm and are printed on 300 g cardboard.
