As in Trage (Weiter), the title and the form of the work imply shifting and mobility with regard to framing contexts. Castle-like crenellations that extend downwards into legs correlate with motifs of treasure chests and medieval cabinets. The bottomless object offers a framed (or “barred”) view of the floor.
